As temperatures plummeted here in Kansas City, Tara desperately needed a hand up to get on her feet and into transitional housing – providing the much-needed shelter and assistance as she looked for a job.
The NorthPoint Foundation worked with Tara to provide temporary lodging, food, and gas and assist her with getting her car out of the impound. Once Tara got into transitional housing, she secured a job, moved into her own place, and looked to continue her education here in Kansas City.
“I am wanting to thank NorthPoint foundation and to give a final report that it all worked,” said Tara. “I am employed full-time with one full-time job and another part-time job. I have my own apartment and am now looking into continuing my education as I enjoy life local to Kansas City. Thank you to NorthPoint.”
