In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastation in Western North Carolina, the NorthPoint Foundation mobilized quickly to address urgent needs in the affected communities. Through a partnership with the local non-profit Bags of Hope, we demonstrated what it means to live generously and respond in moments of crisis.
Hurricane Helene’s impact left many communities isolated, with limited access to basic necessities. Recognizing the urgency, the Foundation responded, approving a significant donation within hours. This enabled the purchase and delivery of critical supplies, which were airlifted directly to those in need.
Together, we provided:
- 234 toothbrushes
- 72 tubes of toothpaste
- 125 packs of baby wipes
- 28 containers of baby formula
- 71 jars of peanut butter
- 85 boxes of granola bars
- 233 cans of tuna
These items were carefully chosen to address the immediate needs of families recovering from the storm’s aftermath. Watching our team step up to support this effort highlighted the power of collective action and the difference it can make in a crisis.
Our commitment to giving back didn’t stop there. The Charlotte office has continued its partnership with Bags of Hope, a local non-profit dedicated to feeding children and families in need. Next month, our team will join Bags of Hope to pack lunches for local students, ensuring that children in our community have access to nutritious meals and the care they deserve.
